These Community Guidelines apply to all use of Blipside, including Listener accounts, Creator accounts, public profiles, session metadata, live audio, reports, and other interactions with the Service. They are incorporated into the Terms of Use. Creators also expressly acknowledge them when accepting the Creator Terms.

1. Purpose

Blipside is built for live personality, perspective, reaction, and conversation around sports. These Guidelines help keep that participation lawful, safe, trustworthy, and usable without flattening strong opinions or ordinary sports disagreement.

Context matters. Blipside may consider the words or material at issue, the live setting, the target and audience, credible threats, intent, repetition, severity, newsworthiness, and risk of harm. Criticism of a team, a person, a league, or an opinion is not by itself a violation. Strong language, rivalry, satire, humor, and unpopular views are not automatically prohibited, but they do not excuse targeted abuse, exploitation, deception, or unlawful conduct.

2. Threats, violence, harassment, and hate

Do not:

  • threaten, encourage, celebrate, or coordinate violence or serious physical harm;
  • target a person with sustained harassment, stalking, intimidation, or unwanted sexualization;
  • encourage others to attack or harass a person;
  • expose private information to facilitate harm;
  • attack, demean, or promote exclusion, discrimination, or violence based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious medical condition, age, caste, veteran status, or another protected characteristic; or
  • praise or materially support violent extremist or terrorist activity.

Discussion, criticism, counterspeech, reporting, historical analysis, and educational context may be treated differently when they do not promote or direct abuse.

3. Sexual exploitation and minors

Blipside has zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation or abuse, grooming, sexualization of minors, trafficking, or content that facilitates those acts.

Do not share, request, threaten to share, or facilitate:

  • intimate or sexual content without consent;
  • sexual exploitation or coercion;
  • sexually explicit content involving minors or a person presented as a minor;
  • content that sexualizes a minor; or
  • information intended to locate or contact a child for exploitation.

Do not intentionally provide sexually explicit content or other material that exceeds the age rating or content limits Blipside establishes for the Service.

Blipside may preserve and report credible child-safety information to appropriate safety organizations or authorities when required or permitted by law.

4. Self-harm, dangerous acts, and illegal conduct

Do not use Blipside to:

  • encourage, coordinate, or provide instructions for suicide or self-harm;
  • celebrate or graphically glorify severe injury, death, or abuse in a manner intended to encourage harm;
  • coordinate dangerous stunts or challenges likely to cause injury;
  • sell or facilitate illegal goods or services;
  • facilitate fraud, extortion, money laundering, or other criminal conduct;
  • evade law-enforcement or safety controls in furtherance of wrongdoing; or
  • operate illegal gambling or deceptive betting schemes.

Supportive, preventive, journalistic, sports-analysis, or educational discussion may be allowed when it does not encourage harm or provide actionable instructions for wrongdoing.

5. Privacy, doxxing, recording, and confidential information

Do not disclose, solicit, or threaten to disclose another person's sensitive personal information without authorization, including a home address, private contact information, financial information, credentials, government identifiers, medical information, precise location, or other information likely to expose the person to harm.

Do not intentionally capture or transmit another person's voice, likeness, or private conversation without the permissions required by law. Creators are responsible for obtaining required consent from guests, callers, co-hosts, or other identifiable participants they intentionally include.

Do not disclose confidential, privileged, unlawfully obtained, or access-restricted information.

6. Impersonation, affiliation, scams, and deception

Do not:

  • impersonate another person or organization in a harmful or misleading way;
  • falsely claim credentials, employment, sponsorship, authorization, or affiliation;
  • use deceptive account-recovery, phishing, or credential requests;
  • promote fraudulent investments, giveaways, financial schemes, or products;
  • use manipulated metadata or misleading links to deceive listeners; or
  • use satire or parody as a pretext for harmful impersonation or fraud.

A fan account, parody, or commentary identity must be presented so a reasonable listener is not misled about who operates it or whether it is official.

7. Copyright, trademarks, and underlying broadcasts

Respect copyright, trademark, publicity, and other rights.

Creators may discuss games and sports topics, but may not transmit or rebroadcast:

  • the underlying game, television, radio, streaming, or venue audio or video;
  • unauthorized music, sound recordings, clips, feeds, or highlights;
  • paid or credentialed-access content;
  • another person's commentary or recording; or
  • material they do not have permission to use.

Do not use league, team, broadcaster, platform, or brand identity in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, endorsement, employment, authorization, or affiliation.

Send copyright complaints to support@blipside.app with the subject Copyright and enough information for Blipside to evaluate the concern. Blipside has not activated a separate Copyright Policy or statutory notice-and-counter-notice process.

8. Accurate profiles and sessions

Use accurate Creator identity, session title, game or topic context, main session language, schedule, and other metadata. Do not deliberately mislabel a session to evade filters, confuse listeners, gain improper discovery placement, or misrepresent what listeners should expect.

Voice Types, Voice Styles, languages, coverage interests, and similar profile attributes are self-selected descriptors. Do not use them to make deceptive credential or fluency claims.

9. Sponsorships and material connections

Clearly and conspicuously disclose a payment, sponsorship, employment relationship, affiliate compensation, free product or service, or other material connection when the relationship could affect how listeners evaluate your recommendation or commentary and disclosure is required by law.

Do not present paid or sponsored commentary as independent when it is not. A vague statement such as partner may not be sufficient if it does not clearly explain the relationship.

10. Spam, manipulation, and interference

Do not:

  • flood sessions, reports, support channels, or account systems;
  • coordinate false or retaliatory reporting;
  • buy, sell, fabricate, or manipulate follows, engagement, discovery, or analytics;
  • automate access or scraping contrary to Blipside's instructions or technical controls;
  • distribute malware or deceptive code;
  • evade blocks, account restrictions, rate limits, or enforcement;
  • probe or exploit vulnerabilities without authorization; or
  • interfere with sessions, accounts, infrastructure, or another user's access.

Report suspected security vulnerabilities to security@blipside.app. Do not access another person's information or disrupt production systems to demonstrate a concern.

11. Reporting and blocking

Use Report when you reasonably believe a Voice, session, account, or other content violates these Guidelines or presents a safety, legal, fraud, copyright, or security concern. Choose the most accurate available category and provide useful context when requested.

Do not file a report solely because you dislike a Voice, disagree with an opinion, or want to disrupt a competing Creator.

A report requests review. It does not automatically end a session or establish a violation. Blipside does not use a published fixed number or percentage of reports as an automatic guilt threshold.

Use Block when you do not want to hear or encounter a Voice. Blocking is a private Listener control and is distinct from a policy report. It is not a platform-wide finding against the Voice.

12. How Blipside may respond

Blipside may:

  • take no action;
  • request more information;
  • educate or warn a user;
  • correct, restrict, or remove metadata or content;
  • reduce visibility or limit features;
  • end a live session;
  • place an account on hold;
  • suspend or terminate an account;
  • preserve evidence;
  • refer a matter to an appropriate provider, safety organization, or authority; or
  • restore access after review.

More serious or repeated violations may receive stronger action. Blipside may consider prior enforcement, credible context, risk, and attempts to evade restrictions. Immediate intervention may be appropriate for imminent harm or unmistakable severe violations.

Blipside's enforcement may be imperfect. Live audio may reach listeners before a problem is detected, and Blipside does not promise to detect or review every issue in real time.

13. Review and restoration

When appropriate, Blipside may explain an enforcement action and provide a route to request review. Contact support@blipside.app if you believe action was taken in error.

A review request does not guarantee reversal, disclosure of confidential or sensitive evidence, or a fixed response time. Copyright counter-notices are handled under the separate Copyright Policy when that process applies.

14. Emergencies and child-safety concerns

Blipside is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

If you become aware of apparent child sexual exploitation or abuse, an imminent threat, or another severe safety matter, use the most relevant report option and contact support@blipside.app with the subject Urgent Safety. Do not redistribute unlawful or exploitative material in an attempt to report it.

15. Changes

Blipside may update these Guidelines. Each public version will have a new effective date. A material change may require renewed acceptance or acknowledgment for the affected account role. Nonmaterial corrections may be published without a new account prompt.
